A coalition of organizations dedicated to improving food systems in West Virginia and the greater Appalachian region approached us with a branding and visual identity project to establish a newly formed “food hub” serving farmers, chefs, and communities. Through research and interviews with stakeholders, we named the endeavor “Turnrow Appalachian Farm Collective” and developed branding and messaging to draw on the rich history of Appalachian farming traditions as well as the story of collaboration, entrepreneurship, and hard work that our region is know for. We also developed a communications and earned media strategy to ensure a successful launch.
