If you can do good, you must. This is the philosophy that drove Chief Executive Officer JEN SUSMAN to co-found and lead 84 Agency. A West Virginia native, Jen received her Master of Fine Arts from the San Francisco Art Institute in California before deciding to bring her creative spirit and vision for positive change home. Jen is a skilled strategist with empathy to match, and she keeps us all on-target and on-mission—doing good and inspiring others to do the same.

An experienced storyteller and artist, 84 Agency President and co-founder CARLING MCMANUS specializes in developing creative solutions to the kinds of challenges that most others shy away from. Whether she's behind a camera, sketching at her house in the woods, or writing poetry in a coffee shop, rest assured her mind and heart are invested in giving form to big ideas and creating content that matters.

Our resident yogi, Art Director LIZ FORD is a stabilizing presence for our team and our clients. In the creative world, Liz is a jack of all trades and master of most. From branding to layouts, visual storytelling to photography, each project Liz touches is infused with her passion for using design to tell stories that matter.

As our Director of Accounts, CHELSEA COSTELLO HORNYAK brings her national and international professional experience to help clients dream big and turn those dreams into a reality. A natural relationship builder and systems wizard, Chelsea keeps clients in the loop and makes sure projects stay on track. And she's everyone's favorite coffee date.

Born and raised in Charleston, West Virginia, Junior Graphic Designer NICOLE CAREY is a recent Marshall grad with a passion for art in all its forms. From pottery to photography to weaving, she’s willing to try her hand at any medium that comes her way. She is a firm believer in art’s ability to spark change, and uses her multidisciplinary educational background to create designs that stand out.

VASILIA SCOURAS, our Engagement Director, thrives on helping others showcase their strengths. She recognizes that behind every organization and business is a diverse team of individuals who have unique stories and backgrounds. As our Engagement Director, she makes meaningful connections to further the impact and mission of our clients. A West Virginian by choice, Vas is immensely committed to contributing to the creative community she has found in Appalachia.

With previous work experience in nonprofit and entertainment marketing, account management, and education, ALLISON WALLACE, Engagement Manager, is uniquely suited to help 84 Agency’s clients achieve their missions. Highly adaptable, Allison thrives on change and enjoys tackling clients’ challenges head on. Originally from Teays Valley, Allison made the choice to return home to WV after almost ten years in Las Vegas and is excited to make a difference where it matters most: her hometown.

KRISTA GREENE, our Accounts Manager, has a goal to make others shine. Her focus is the behind-the-scenes work it takes for clients’ success. As a native West Virginian, Krista loves to create connections with people who are making a positive impact in the community.

Well-versed in navigating the space between creativity and action through her photography and past nonprofit work, Account Specialist MICHELLE BREITER excels when presented with a challenge. She approaches every project with a spirit of curiosity and love for authentic communication, and—having recently returned from traveling the country in a 200 sq. ft. trailer for a year with her husband and becoming a new parent—Michelle is energized by the opportunity to take on new challenges in support of 84 Agency’s diverse, values-driven clients.
