West Virginia Women’s Business Center Branding, Website, and Marketing

No matter where a person may be on their business journey, having the support and guidance of experienced partners and mentors is crucial. This is especially true for woman and minority entrepreneurs who face greater barriers to entry.

84 Agency helped create the brand for the new West Virginia Women’s Business Center (WV WBC), which exists for this purpose—to support chronically underserved entrepreneurs in West Virginia. In accordance with the brand requirements of the Small Business Association, we designed a brand, website, marketing plan, virtual events, and more to advance the WV WBC’s mission of ensuring that anyone with a dream has access to the right tools to get their venture off the ground or take it to the next level.

“84 Agency has been a fantastic partner as we’ve launched our organization and navigated the full breadth of marketing and communications, the key to successful market engagement. They were in sync with our mission to keep our clients at the center of every communication decision. A particular highlight was their Grounded Discovery approach, helping us figure out how we want to serve our market. Everything flowed from that foundational work, integrating all the pieces and helping us stay true to our vision.”

— Nora Myers, West Virginia Women’s Business Center Executive Director

We built brand guidelines and a library of brand assets that would set the WV WBC apart from other organizations in their market.

A statewide billboard campaign, a Facebook Likes campaign, and print ads generated brand awareness. Print materials, like a post card for the mentorship program, brought the WV WBC directly to potential clients.
